Meet Dr. Chauncey Crandall
Dr. Chauncey W. Crandall, M.D., F.A.C.C., is the director of preventive cardiology and clinical medicine at the world-renowned Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Florida, where he practices interventional, vascular, and transplant cardiology.
Dr. Crandall graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his internship at the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed fellowships in cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City, as well as a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia.
He's currently on call to treat cardiac emergencies at three South Florida hospitals, where he has performed over 40,000 heart procedures and managed over 1,000 heart transplants.
Dr. Crandall makes frequent guest appearances as a heart expert on national television and radio programs. He also lectures regularly, both nationally and internationally, about preventive cardiology, cardiology care for the elderly, interventional cardiology, and heart transplants.
